Class Details

All classes are taster classes and are 30 minutes in length

Kids Aerial Yoga
Classes are aimed at children from 7 years to 16 years. Classes will include yoga poses for children, creative yoga games, breathing and meditation exercise and guided imagery. There will be one child to each hammock.

Adults Aerial Yoga
Aerial yoga combines the physical practice of yoga with the use of a suspended hammock. This class is suitable for complete beginners and those with no yoga experience, learn to work with the fabric to increase flexibility and strength, lengthen and stretch and enjoy a deep relaxation to close. There will be one adult to each hammock and there will be both grounded and air-based movements.

Family Aerial Yoga
This class is a fun and friendly class suitable for accompanied children aged 4-11 years old. 1 adult and 1 child will share the hammock for plenty of airtime. If you have more than one child that would like to attend then that is fine book another hammock and you can go between each child’s hammock. This class is suitable for complete beginners or previous class attendees.

Adults Yin Aerial Yoga
Experience the wonderful combination of yin yoga with aerial yoga. There will be one person per hammock and the hammock will be lowered to just above floor height. Yin yoga is a quiet meditative yoga practice where poses are held for 3-5 minutesIt targets connective tissue rather than muscle; so instead of actively engaging your muscles, you relax into the stretch and let gravity do its work. It encourages joint mobility. It is a very calming practice, great to soothe the mind and reset the nervous system. Perfect for an evening class, it will allow you a perfect opportunity to wind down before a restful sleep.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga is a series of both floor and standing postures, including some balancing postures to challenge our stability. Hatha focuses on neutral alignment, healthy mobility, and breath work. Hatha works on all the muscle groups and provides a full body stretch out, nourishing and energising the body without exhausting it. Led by our awesome instructor Sammie, this class is perfect for beginners as well as regular yogis.

What to wear for Aerial Yoga Classes?

Clothing – Wear comfortable gym gear such as leggings or joggers and a t-shirt or long-sleeved top that covers the under arms. Please do not wear any clothes with zips or buttons, or jewelry except a plain wedding band. No shoes are worn during class, but grip socks/yoga socks may be worn. Please wear a mask to enter and exit the building however during class no mask is worn.


You will be required to bring your own mat to class. Once you have booked your place you will be emailed a Covid 19 screening questionnaire and class registration form. Both of which must be completed prior to attending class.
