Beginners Pilates Workshop
If you are totally new to Pilates, not sure if it is for you or would like to brush up on the fundamental exercises, then this is the workshop for you.
Over the 90 minutes you will:
- Learn how to master the fundamental principles of Pilates including lateral breathing, core engagement and perfecting postural alignment.
- Be introduced to some of the small equipment commonly used in classes
- Enjoy a full beginner’s class
Prerequisites: This workshop is suitable for anyone who can get down to work on the floor and get back up independently.
The workshop is also suitable for pregnancy (after 12 weeks), clients suffering with chronic pain, back pain, arthritis, or those who are keen on improving posture and core strength.
Vicky is an expert physio and is one of our Pilates instructors. She has been teaching Pilates for seven years and would love to welcome you to the workshop and start or continue your journey with Pilates.
We would ask you to bring your own mat if you have one and we would require you to complete a health questionnaire prior to taking place in the workshop.
