Sound Healing / Gong Bath Workshop (22nd September 2023)

Join us on Friday 22nd September 2023 at 7.30pm with the amazing Andrew Lovell for an immersive 90 minute sound experience; bathing in therapeutic sounds, and the powerful vibrations of the gong to release energy blockages and reinvigorate being.

No prior experience is required in order to participate. The session is carried out in a supported, reclined position, so for the best experience come in comfortable, relaxed and warm clothing. Mats will be made available for use however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. We also encourage you to bring your own bolsters, cushions and blankets to be as comfortable as possible during the sound bath.

Here is a little more information about Andrew and his journey so far.

Andrew’s journey as a Sound Therapist is varied and unique. His hyperactive child energy, finally found expression as a young adult in 90’s rave clubs and as part of the legendary band M People. He later qualified as a Cranio Sacral Therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and is currently studying Child Psychotherapy. Andrew feels all and everything is energy, frequency and vibration.  He began exploring these qualities by firstly playing the drums and over the years has expanded his resonance to many ethereal, therapeutic sounds such as, gongs, Shruti box, singing bowls, Quartz crystal chimes, Amazonian Icaro’s – songs – and the spoken word, all providing a depth of sound bathing that definitely needs to be felt and experienced.

Andrew has travelled to many places in the world and sat with many inspiring people in many healing and sound therapeutic circles. From Amazonian Shaman to African Masai to Indian Spiritual leaders to some of the most forward-thinking people across the globe.  Each one has left their imprint and allows the Universal oneness Andrew feels, too manifest as musical medicine and flow freely through any sound bath experience that Andrew offers. We look forward to welcoming Andrew to the chapel and feel sure this will be, for our clients, a very special evening.
