LINDSEY GRAHAM
Physiotherapist
Hello I’m Lindsey. I graduated from Brunel University, London in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and returned to the North East after my studies to begin work as a Junior Physiotherapist at Sunderland Royal Hospital.
In 2004 I started working at a private physiotherapy clinic in Newcastle, specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
In 2005 I became a member of the Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapists (AACP) meaning I am able to offer Acupuncture as part of my Physiotherapy services.
My passion and special interest is in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and conditions that occur in during menstruation, pregnancy, post- natal and menopause. These are often ignored, misunderstood and therefore not treated with the specialist care and attention they deserve.
Sound familiar?
Hardly anyone talks about ‘Women’s Health’ problems and your ‘Lady bits’. I’m different. I do and I want to help you, to empower women like you and make a difference to your health.
I want to look after you, help you and to understand why you are getting problems such as:
- Painful periods
- Difficulty trying to conceive
- Pelvic girdle pain during pregnancy
- Back pain following childbirth
- Tummy gap separation (rectus diastatis)
- Pelvic floor weakness/ incontinence/ leaking when exercising
- Prolapse
- Menopausal symptoms
These problems are common but not normal. Let’s talk about them more. With a specialist assessment and diagnostic skills we can make a treatment plan together and help you achieve you goals.
I am available for Physiotherapy, Acupuncture and Mummy MOT appointments on Tuesdays 9am-4pm and Wednesdays 10am-8pm.
