Hello! My name is Julie and I am delighted to be here to share the practice of yoga with you.

Being both a student and teacher of yoga means that I love to refine what I offer; while at the same time honouring the core principles and practices of traditional yoga. My passion is to share a yoga practice that is functional and accessible, and that you can carry into your daily life. This includes integration of movement, breath and awareness.

We all face ups and downs in life, and the great thing about yoga is that it can be adapted to suit the need of the moment and to support your return to balance. On a personal level, across the years a range of yoga practices played a supportive role in recovery from back pain, as well as helped me to navigate the crazy stages of menopause. This included mindfulness and meditation; asana and vinyasa flow; a range of breathing practices (I have my top favourite which I’ll share with you); and restorative practices including Yoga Nidra.

I believe that at any moment, you can choose an action that supports your ability to redefine yourself… and that is what yoga is all about… transformation… giving yourself the chance to evolve, through the practice process. When you commit to a regular practice the benefits begin to multiply. If you are curious, have a desire to start yoga and are looking for an accessible practice that you can carry into your life, then I can’t wait to meet you! This is yoga with no impossible shapes required.
