Hello, I’m Tracy Pope – a qualified and registred Podiatrist. I qualified in 2009 from Durham School in Podiatry with a degree in Podiatric Medicine. I continued to expend my learning 2010 by receiving a Masters qualification from Sunderland University in Advanced Clinical Practice gaining research experience at ARC (Arthritis Research Campaign).
I am a state registered Podiatrist with HCPC (Health and Care professions Council) and a member of the COP (College of Podiatry). As part of registration and membership I continue learning with CPD (continued professional development) gaining new knowledge and skill and updates to the benefit of my clinical practice and patient experience.
I have 12 years of experience in private practice setting. These aspects podiatry and chiropody care include managing a large private practice team to treating patients in community clinics, nursing homes and clinics in the corporate sector. I provide treatments for routine care, diabetic foot care, biomechanical assessment and nail surgery. By covering this wide range podiatry specialities, it allows me approach patients treatment plan holistically giving long term results.
The patient experience is always focus of the service that I provide. I am passionate that the treatment and patient’s journey is one that relives pain and gives a feeling of wellbeing. There is no greater compliment than to hear patients say “they are walking on air” as the leave the practice.
